Delete your account

Version 1.0 · In force from 2 September 2026

This page explains how to have your Mixify account deleted, what is removed, and what we keep. Mixify is operated by Red Swift Systems Ltd.

Delete it yourself, now

Signed in, go to You → Account & settings → Delete account in the app, or to the bottom of your profile on the web. Type your username, then the 6-digit code we email to the address on your account — so nobody holding your phone can do it for you. The deletion then happens immediately; there is no waiting period.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@redswift.systems from the email address on your Mixify account with the subject “Delete my account”. That address is how we verify the request is yours; if you have lost access to it, say so and we will verify you another way before acting. We complete deletion within one month (sooner where your jurisdiction requires it), and confirm to you when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in, including social sign-in links, and every signed-in session.
  • Your profile — name, username, photo, bio — and your Merit link.
  • Your check-ins, rankings, lists, follows, likes, ratings, comments and reviews.
  • Where you said you work, and your membership of any brand organisation.
  • Evidence you attached to support a claim, and the files behind it.
  • Photos you uploaded, except the photograph on a recipe that stays published (below).
  • Your age check, professional verification requests, notifications, blocks, podcast suggestions and personal QR code. A bar you manage is released so its staff can claim it.

What is kept, and why

  • Published recipes and attribution records. If you published recipes, the recipe, its photograph and its authorship record stay, per the contributor licence you accepted — but they are disconnected from your account. They are credited to the name you give when you delete, or to nobody. A variant of someone else’s drink is taken down rather than left without an author. Recipes you had already removed stay removed.
  • The evidence log. Entries recording that a recipe was published — its name, identifiers and fingerprints of its ingredients, method and photo — cannot be altered or removed. They refer to your account only by an internal number, which after deletion no longer leads to you.
  • The consent ledger and the deletion record. A timestamped record that consent existed and was withdrawn, and a record that your deletion was carried out and when — kept because both are things the law requires us to be able to show. Neither holds your name or email.
  • Votes and entries in brand campaigns. A vote you cast keeps counting, and an entry you made for a bar stays with the bar, so a campaign’s result does not change after the fact. Neither is linked to you any more.
  • Reports you filed and crash reports. A report stays with our moderators, and an automatic crash report keeps its technical details, both without your name, email or account. Feedback messages you wrote are deleted.
  • What the law makes us keep — for as long as it makes us keep it, and no longer.

Deleting some data without deleting the account

You can also ask for less than everything — a specific photo, your drink history, a review — at the same address, or remove most content yourself in the app. Access and portability requests (a copy of your data) go to the same address.
