Copyright notices
Version 1.0 · In force from DRAFT
Mixify hosts recipes, photographs and words that people contribute. If you believe something here copies your work without permission, tell us and we will look at it promptly. Mixify is operated by Red Swift Systems Ltd (company number 14891467).
Sending a notice
Use the form below, or email copyright@mixify.bar. A notice we can act on includes:
- your name and how to reach you;
- the work you say is copied, and where it was first published;
- a link to where it appears on Mixify;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, that the notice is accurate, and that you own the rights or may act for whoever does.
A recipe’s list of ingredients and method, on its own, is generally not protected by copyright; its photograph and original descriptive writing can be. Mixify’s attribution record is evidence of who published what first — it is not a copyright registration.
What happens next
- We review the notice and, where it holds up, take the content down.
- We tell the person who posted it, and they can appeal.
- If an appeal shows the notice was wrong, we put the content back and withdraw the finding against them.
- Accounts that repeatedly post material that infringes others’ copyright are suspended.
