Logging a drink
Log what you had and where. Your list of drinks and bars builds itself from it, best first. There are no stars: each new drink is placed against the ones you already had.
Log a drink
In the app, signed in.
- Open the Pour tab and search for the drink, or tap I had this — log it on any drink’s page.
- Say where: search for the bar, tap Bars near me, or choose At home.
- Say how good it was by picking the drink it beats (Above …) or At the bottom. Your first drink just starts the list.
- Add a line if you like, then tap Log it.
Already checked in at a bar with I’m here? The next drink you pick is logged there.
How your rankings work
- Each drink has one place on your list. Log it again and you can place it again.
- Bars join Your bars, best first after a few drinks there. The app then asks which of your bars it beats.
- Your year so far (drinks, bars, your usual spirit) is for you only. There is no public version.
A log cannot be edited or deleted yet. Placing the drink again moves it on your list.
A drink that isn’t on Mixify
- Search for it on the Pour tab, then tap Not here? Add the drink you had.
- Say what it was called, where you had it, who made it and what it was like. A photo is optional.
- Tap Send for review.
It is in your drinks straight away but only you see it until Mixify’s editors approve it. Its status shows under Drinks you added on the Pour tab.
Codes at a bar
Bars can put Mixify codes (QR or tap) on tables and menus. Scan one with your camera:
- A bar’s code opens the bar. You can recommend it, rank it or check in.
- A menu code opens that drink at that bar. I had this — check in opens the app with the bar already filled in.
- A bartender’s code opens their page.
